Creality Ender 3 X axis homing issue Ask Question Asked 3 years, 8 months ago Modified 3 years, 8 months ago Viewed 16k times 1 I bought an Ender 3 recently. Auto-home is on the right front moving away from the end stop. I did reverse the wiring of the X axis motor, it did not work. I had Marlin 2.x uploaded, it didn't work too. Marlin 2.x:
In the case of only the Z-axis of your Ender 3 failing to home, we can immediately tell that the Z-axis endstop is the culprit, meaning that either there are problems with its wiring (especially likely if you have been working on your Ender 3 lately) or the endstop switch is not functional anymore. It does not move at all on the Z-axis and remains 3 - 4" above the bed during and after Auto Homing. Here's the detail : I installed a Creality Ender 3 Pro New Upgrade Motherboard Silent Mainboard V4.2.7 with TMC2225 Driver Marlin 2.0.1 & bootloader pre-installed & then a Creality BLTouch 3D Printer Upgraded Auto Bed Leveling Sensor Kit (the

Z axis not homing Ender 3 V2 with new 3DTouch Solved Hello I just installed a Triangle labs 3D touch on my ender 3 v2. I wired it to the BLTouch port on the board. I flashed a UBL 10x10 BLTouch version of Jyers Marlin specifically this version (E3V2-UBL-BLTouch-10x10-v4.2.2-v2..1.bin). My problem is, that the z axis is not homing correctly at the begin of the print. It goes down and triggers the micro switch, goes up and stays at the incorrect height during the print. This results in non sticking of the first layer. This problem only accoures one or two times in a day. The z-axis motor is not bound and is moving in both directions, just not after homing. I am also assuming the z-axis is supposed to be able to move down after homing, as the instruction for setting up the CRTouch specifically says to home the head, then to find the z-offset by lowering the z-axis. Plurrie Ender 3 V2 Z-axis homing VERY inconsistent Help Hi all, First time posting here, so hopefully I'm doing this right. My new stock Ender 3 V2 is having extreme deviations in Z-axis homing. When I auto-home, The nozzle will end up anywhere between perfect print height to a full millimeter off the bed, seemingly randomly. I got myself the Ender 3. The Home position is about 1 mm left and 2 mm in front of the front left corner. Now, the hotend center axis is 11 mm from the carrier plate with the "Mk 10" cooler mounted right onto a pair of 5 mm pegs that are part of the plate. As I want to change to an e3D v6, which has a diameter of 22 mm, I will have to move out SVDMBll.
